Considering I usually do about 80mph on the Beltway, no, it's not that bad, but I'm the kind of person that takes speed limits as suggestions.

Most of the speed limits here are 50 km/h, so that's why I was confused. I'm not sure how long a mile is, or a kilometre for that matter. I usually drive around 60-70km/h (depending on the limit, of course :P).

My road's speed limit is 20mph (which is good for people who drive carefully or haven't gone down my road before), but I go 40 -- not when I get to the curves. I slow down.
In my town, if I go the speed limit, the people behind me will get right up on me. Most of the time they don't realize the speed limit changes.

The speed limits around my area are 55 mph. I usually drive the speed limit, although I've driven with people that go 80 mph (and they are never caught, which boggles my mind).
Back on topic. Anthony's "Room to Breathe" is on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPv7adf_6IU His explaniation on the origin of the song was like a ton of bricks. The song, now, has a lot more meaning (although it's always been my favorite song on the album).

My mon freaks if I go over 25 mph. My street speed limit is 25, but almost everyone (including me) goes 40. I get irritated when people go the speed limit, I think I have a problem.....
