I wish all illogical online abbreviations would go away. For a while there was this trend of people typing "muh" or "mah" for "my," and it drove me up the WALL. It's not even an abbreviation, it's an extra letter! It just makes the person saying it sound like a complete idiot.

Yeah, the last rentsecret from last week is so BS. As are most of them, surely.

I hate "cute" words where there's an extra letter for no apparent reason. What's my present? You can just as easily get your point across without throwing random letters in.

Or complete misuse of words, like "awe," which is and expression of surprise and wonder, vs. "aww," which is a way to express that something is cute. So yes, basically I completely agree, Sarah.

Ooh, nothing irks me more than the "l33t" speak or whatever. I know that most people who still use it do so as a joke, but it's so... 1998 computer/RPG geek.

I hate it when people don't use normal spellings online... it bugs me. And I hate it when people "tYpE LiKe tHiS." I'm in high school, so almost everyone I know types like that, and I can't stand it.

*edit* I fixed my capitalizations for you guys. =)

Capitals irk me the most. It's a board, where you can go back and edit and fix things, and they are semi-permanent postings. Proper capitalization makes things *so* much easier to read.

I agree, Sarah. On AIM I couldn't care less, but it's a message board where the standard tends to be proper grammar and punctuation, it's harder to take people as seriously when they don't put in that tiny bit of extra effort.

Whenever people use "teh" it always reminds me of that one scene in Dumb and Dumber when Lloyd can't say "the." Always cracks me up.

I really like it, I've been watching since it premiered. It's from Dick Wolf, but it's more like The Practice than it is Law & Order. Like, there's the cases, but so much of it is also the personal lives, so they don't come across as being robots, or completely cold like the main characters on L&O tend to. And Stephanie March is back as Alex Cabot, so YAAAY! SVU hasn't been the same since she left, she was the best. I saw her across the theater at Chitty the first time I saw it. Then I went and saw Sides for the first time later that night. So it's coming full circle now.
