Hey guys! I finally have some free time, so I uploaded my pictures and stuff.
I wanted to say a little bit about Tuesday, even though I see it's been discussed at nauseum. The booksigning was fun, even though parts were just a tad bit creepy. I met Em and Fantab, they sat right in front of me, and a couple other people.
I was very happy for the concert, it was a much more relaxed atmosphere, and the music was excellent. The dancing was entertaining, too. Afterward, I saw a few people over by the stage talking to Anthony, so I went over there (there were like 2 people in front of me) and then a line developed behind me, and I sort of felt bad because he was, as others have said, literally cornered. But I talked to him for about five minutes. Of course, I forgot everything I would have liked to ask him. I told him that I really enjoyed the show, and his book. He basically kept the conversation afloat, and we figured out that his mom had grown up near the area where I live. He asked what our plans for the night were, and I said we were just hanging out for a while, and he asked if we were sure we were going to be safe. I took another picture with him, and then it was pretty much over.
I really enjoyed the whole day. Anthony is definitely one of the nicest people I have met. He was very patient with everyone wanting to meet him and everything, even though he had just signed books for god knows how long, and put on a concert. He showed genuine kindness and concern, and I'm really glad I had this experience. So, thanks, Anthony!
And now I'll post my pictures...

heh. I realized I never posted like... one coherent thing about it. I think it's pretty much been covered, and I have expressed my undying love for the gig at The Cutting Room, the savior of the day!
Fantabulous was editing the photo and did something that made Anthony like... reflective!
I will laugh so hard if people start sending me blank messages. It was an accident, I swear!

He also tried to explain to us this weird thing about why white sugar was also bad (something about animal bones), but I didn't retain it.
Animal bones are supposedly used to grind down white sugar, but honestly, I doubt it. That sounds a bit rudimentary for 2006.

Three cheers for The Cutting Room!
I didn't stay to talk. My younger sister was complaining how she was tired so I took my leisurely time to get my jacket on. It annoyed her -- and well, that was entertaining.
Thanks Lexi, that's what it was. It seemed a bit extreme to me, but with my psychotically-picky food habits, who am I to judge?
Great pictures, jlc! I think it's kind of funny that the posed pictures and nice and clear, but the other ones are all dark and blurry.
It is kind of funny that the posed pictures are like perfect quality and the other ones are all hazy looking.
Heh, I had a long bus ride home the next day and I called my mom to tell her I was on my way. She was like "Tell me all about it!" I was like "Mom, I'll tell you when I get home, I'm too tired to talk."
My parents always like me to call when I get in for the night if I've been out late or far from campus or something. I called home when the concert ended and told my dad that it was just ending now and that I was going to go say goodnight to Anthony, but that I would call when I got home. He was like "naaaah, just call in the morning......" heh.
