Hey everyone --
i just wanted to post a little thank you in the midst of my book tour (I'm writing this to you from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where it is thankfully WARM).
Each of the events I've done so far has been incredible. The response I'm getting to the book is far exceeding anything I would have ever anticipated. So thank you for showing up and being passionate and warm and sharing your stories with me.
I wrote this book for several reasons, one of which was to help shine some light on some issues that don't get talked about a lot, especially among young people: queer sexuality and grief. Already, people have let me know the ways in which the book has helped them, and I am so grateful to know that. Please continue to share your stories with me. Just be patient in asking for responses, though, because I can get back to some of you when I have time, but it's very difficult to return every single email or message I receive. But I do read everything I get.
I hope you are all well and happy. I look forward to meeting you as I continue traveling around the country. More dates keep getting added, too, so keep checking!

Fantab, thanks for posting this-- Anthony seems to approach everything and everyone with such a geniune sense of caring. It's a great and much needed example.
Now, I'm going to plead ignorance... I've searched MySpace and can't seem to find Anthony's page there. Can I beg some help on a link?

I wasn't even referring to the whole finger sandwich ordeal, although that was pretty frightening. It was just so crowded, stuffed, and completely unorganized. Hopefully it'll be more calm in D.C.

Actually, a lot of people here aren't on MySpace. Considering LJ and IMDB are too *headdesking* for us to handle, MySpace is completely out of the question.
