That's not the way I meant it Rogue.
Yeah, I know, I just can't get enough of that icon. It's very amusing to me.

Yay S=D, bring something small but powerful. lol, and thanks CS for the lesson on pots and kettles.
I don't like hypocrites.
But you don't understand. I'm calling you all pots. Some of the posts in this thread have not been any better.

True CS, very true. I'm sorry if I did anything terribly wrong like that.

Oh, Sarah. *smooches* You're so wise.
I'm sorry if I said anything offensive.
Well, I sure as hell am not a pot. I haven't commented on the myspace people (only that I don't have a myspace) or said any crazy things, so you aren't talking to me.
(To my knowledge)
I totally agree with what you're saying about the craziness of these fangirls. I just think at times this thread is not that much better. A lot of the posts I've read here, sadly have made me cringe. There have been some really great ones too, and a real conversation has been carried out (i.e., after one of his signings, it's great). There are a lot of OMG posts, where it seems like all the poster is doing is screaming. This thread started off with the intention of being an appreciation thread, not a love-thread, which too me there is a difference. I don't mean to be rude or step on anyone's toes here, but I think at times it gets a little carried away and scary. Like the maple syrup discussion. This has been mentioned before when the thread first got moved about grammar, punctuation, capitalization. You're posting with a slightly older group, and you're all capable of communicating as an older group, I've seen you all do it. I just feel at times this thread has become a bunch of younger teenagers constantly squeeing. I apologize if I've hurt anyone, it really isn't the intention.

Yeah CS I agree, we should all act mature here.
I know I have gotten better though, since the first time I have posted! Which makes me really happy

I was going to make a post earlier expressing the exact feelings Sarah just did. I don't understand why so much of this thread is devoting to bashing the fangirls. I suppose even I can get fangirlish at times, but this thread is absolutely brimming with examples with people being, well, fangirls.
Sorry, I'm not trying to direct this at anyone in particular. I'm also in a less-than-great mood right now, so feel free to ignore me. I just think going on and on about how much fangirls suck in here is a bit hypocritical.

I completely agree. However, I do think it's normal for someone to get fangirly once in a while...to a certain extent, that is. I mean, if you meet Anthony Rapp for the first time, as many have these past few weeks, it's hard to contain your excitement, and this board is a great way to let it out. I know and everyone else knows that there's a certain way to get a point across, but I can understand where some of the fangirl posts come from. Some people don't have friends that are fans of Anthony Rapp and turn to this board to express their excitement and appreciation, and some tend to do it in a fangirly way.
I'm not saying I like this behavior, and I do think people should be considerate of everyone else...I'm just saying I can see where some of it is coming from.
I understand what you're saying Rach. And as I said in my post we've had some great discussions about the signings, and it's perfectly understandable that people would be excited about meeting him. At times though, it has gotten completely out of hand. Again, I refer to the maple syrup.

I don't want to explain it again here, because it was just bad. I'll pm you.
PM me too please. I have no idea what you're talking about with the syrup.

I'm not sure what this "maple syrup" incident is, but I'm guessing it was pretty bad haha.
I do think that this board has had some great discussions as well. Even the most fangirly posters on this thread have something intelligent to say when we really get into a conversation, and I appreaciate that greatly.
Agreeing with you CS, I think the fangirl tendencies should be at a minimum. But if anyone here is excited about something...let it out, don't be afraid to. Just do it with good grammar, the right punctuation, and not so many exclamation points
Can I get a Maple Syrup pm too?
Anthony reads this thread. We all know he does, he's posted here. I just think that that should maybe be kept in mind when you're posting.

More than three exclamation points makes me wince. It really does.

Oops sorry, I know I was part of the exclamation point thing, I'll try and keep it to one from now on.

Could I get a maple syrup pm as well?
That being said, I hope that I haven't been a pot (or a kettle, or any type of aluminum cooking appliance), although I have at times, I suspect.
Right here for instance, I'm sure I used far too many commas and probably not correct grammar. But I do try.
