I used to have a MySpace, but I had problems with other people online and didn't want them viewing all my info. Also, the "YOU'RE SO HOT!!!!" messages from completely random people creeped me out. There was someone who wouldn't stop messenging me until I finally had to reply and tell him to stop it. SO sketchy.
I also found it frankly boring after a while. Making a profile is fun, but there isn't much to do beyond that. I was never really one for blogging because I always found myself trying to write entries that would get me a lot of comments or be interesting to my readers, not something heartfelt.

lol That'd be creepy. But not so bad, because I like being told I'm hot. *strut*
No, I kid:p
My school had a website for a minute and the baseball team had profile pages. I got an email from a man in IL (!) who said he was wheelchair bound and was interested in moving me into his home to take care of him...it was odd, to say the least. I was like 13 at the time.

I knew Anthony would clear it up for us
MySpace is annoying. I just accidentally clicked on a link to someone's and it took the page 5 minutes to load and slowed down my entire computer so I couldn't do anything about it. And sometimes, I almost feel like I'm bordering on stalking looking at some people's, it's all just so personal.
I like Facebook better because not just *anyone* can read your information like they can with MySpace. They only get the bare minimum unless you mutually friend each other.
Noah, I got a marriage proposal from some guy in Estonia looking to get his green card when I was 14. Creepy.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be called ugly, but getting random messages from people creeps me out. It's like... how the hell did you find my profile?!
Skittles, I agree with everything you said. Facebook sounds a lot more secure and the pages that take five minutes to load and crash your computer are the most annoying things ever. No, you don't need a sparkly background with five movie clips and a special cursor on your profile page.

Wow, while I am on the board but reviewing what all has been said, I miss convos about chinchillas, which are the greatest effing things in the entire world, and a thing from Anthony. How do I do that so often?
And, naturally, I end up in the convo about myspace. I think myspace is going to take over the world. Or at least Virginia. I think if it was taken away, my entire school would die. They BREATHE it. Hmm..maybe I should find a way to get that done...??

I know! He emailed me, I think, four times. He said I looked like a nice, responsible boy and felt that he needed a young influence in his life (he was only 30 or somewhere around there). He even offered to talk to my parents. I wonder what he would have told them.

Woah. That is overly creepy. Entering the conversation late, I have a MySpace. I only have 3 friends.
I have a myspace. The second someone creepily comments/messages me, it'll be gone.
But no one has.

I've covered all bases. Xanga, MySpace, and LiveJournal. I have to say out of all 3 I really prefer LJ.

Wow, I missed a lot.
Recently, I've developed a love for The Rocket Summer.
and I really love the Rocket Summer.
SQUEE! *giant hugs* So many people haven't even HEARD of TRS, I've been a fan for a few years now. Hoping Bryce will get his butt back to Chicago soon because I missed the most recent show.
Thanks for clearing up the Myspace deal, Anthony! If you need any help with HTML, www.lissaexplains.com is a really easy HTML how-to site.
I got a Xanga and LJ back in middle school, and a Myspace roughly... sometime last year. I prefer LJ, then Xanga, and finally Myspace. I'm on LJ almost all the time, Xanga sometimes, and Myspace... only to chat with a few people like Dan.

I have a Livejournal and a Xanga, but I never use them. I used to be really into Open Diary, but that was forever ago. Now I mostly just use Myspace and Facebook.
I have a myspace, but it hasn't been updated in ages. I had a LiveJournal, but I really didn't like it. The idea that people can collect so much info about you online is a little bit scary.
The whole random message thing can get creepy.
It's going to snow here soon. Woo!
Edit: Why am I always the thread killer? Maybe I'm just unlucky?
