I have one, I was addicted for a while, but it gets old fast. It is fun to look at other people though. It's wierd that my little sister has one with pictures of her celebrity crushes and stuff about her boyfriend, I try not to look at it that much.
I don't like Myspace. It started off innocent..but now it's gotten out of hand. (Did anyone else heard about the police officer who found out his 13 year old daughter took a train to Manhattan to meet someone from online by reading her myspace? And that's not even the worst of it..) *sigh*
Shari Lewis: Did you ever wish upon a star?
Lamb Chop: I once asked Mr. Rogers for his autograph.
I had one in high school because all of my friends had them. I don't update it anymore but I still have it. I guess it has its purposes - I can see what my friends are up to.
I don't like talking about myself (drunken chats aside). And if I want to show off my pretty face, I just put it in photobucket and spread the love that way, heh.
I'm missing the music discussion! Noah, as if I didn't already think you were awesome enough, you have phenominal taste in music. Absolutely stellar. A lot of the bands you listed are ones that I love that no one else seems to pay much attention to.
Anyway, bands/artists that it seems that not enough people have heard of, which is a travesty: The Shins, Belle and Sebastian, The Decemberists, Elliott Smith, Neutral Milk Hotel, New Pornographers, Murder by Death, Mates of State, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Interpol, The Wrens, Spoon, The Mars Vollta.
I make a profile page for... myspace, facebook, LJ, etc. and then never really mess with them again. I check randomly to see if people have friended me, but I'm not addicted to any of the sites. When I first joined myspace, I recall it being confusing as hell... but it's not too bad.
Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to
Darling Violetta, Velvet Chain, Cibo Matto, Nickel, Kane, Ghost of the Mad Robot and Velvet Chain are some other good bands that mostly no one outside of the Buffy World has heard of.
And Four Star Mary, but I already mentioned them. :)
