I remember my first Johnny Depp movie...when he got sucked into that bed. Fun times.

Nightmare on Elm Street?
#4728

Myspace

I'm going to be honest, I'm not a Johnny Depp fan.
#4729

Myspace

I could go either way on him ... but I was completly weirded out by his look on all the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ads so I never saw the movie.

Yep, I think that was it. I was about 8.

And I liked him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...acting-wise. "Everything in this room is eatable. Even I'm edible, but that, children, is cannibalism, and is frowned upon in most countries." OR something to that effect, I haven't seen the movie since it was in theateres.

I think I've seen all the Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and Friday the Thirteenth movies.

This is such a threadjack...

I just read on Anthony's myspace that he likes the movie "Y Tu Mama Tambien" and it's one of my all time *favorite* movies. Not many people know about it, anyone like it or know it?
#4733

Myspace

I've heard of it but haven't seen it.
#4734

Myspace

I've seen it, didn't really care for it. The guy thing was kind of a turn off.
Literal tacos! Sheesh. Y'all are nasty....
#4735

Myspace

Never heard of it, but I was happy that my Spanish skills could translate the title.

Is it really a threadjack if you're getting back on topic? Myspace

For the caption of the pic with Ant and Adam, he wrote 'Adam and I'. Im such a nerd, and jumped at the chance to correct his grammer.

tacos are great-- guy thing? I don't think I know what you're talking about

orangeskittles, very true...it was more of a discussion-jack
#4739

Myspace

When the guys got it on towards the end. The rest of the movie was decent, though.
Literal tacos! Sheesh. Y'all are nasty....
#4740

Myspace

Wouldn't Adam and I be correct? *raises eyebrow*

I'm trying to figure out why I know the movie 'Y Tu Mama Tambien.' I know that I've heard of it but I really don't know why...

Election is one of my favorite movies.

I've heard of "Y Tu Mama Tambien", but haven't seen it.

No, its Adam and me. Because you wouldnt just say 'I'. Not really sure how to explain it.

#4745

Myspace

Eh, that's true. I guess I'm thinking more in the context of sentences. *scratches head*

I actually had this conversation with someone today. If you take away the other person's name, the pronoun that's left needs to make sense. So we say "Bob and I went to the movies" because "I went to the movies" makes sense. "This picture is Adam and me" works because "This picture is me" makes sense.

Or something like that. :) I'm sure there is a much more technical way of explaining it.
#4747

Myspace

"This picture is of Adam and me."
So, "This picture is of me." It's less awkward. It's not like, he IS the picture...ahha

I don't have a myspace, so it won't let me see the pictures.

I'm sure you've seen them all anyway Sarah.

Alfonso Cuaron (Y Tu Mama Tambien, Great Expectations, A Little Princess, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) is an incredible director, I think.
