I'm glad he's all right, too. I'm not exactly a big fan of his, but I'm still relieved. This reminds me of all the near-heart attacks I would have when Matthew Perry had those multiple car crashes.

...sorry, inner Friends fan is leaving now.

Orange skittles, I vaguely remember Anthony commenting on the fact that the way Adam wrote the play, it *was* completely 1-man. However, in one fairly "mainstream" production of it, several other actors were added. Actors that were only supposed to be mentioned. Anthony expressed some displeasure at that, saying that he felt that the fact that it *was* only one person was a reflection on the character.

Of course, I may be talking about an entitely different play, but that's what I recall.

It could have been this play, like I said, I didn't understand the way it was staged when I read it. The other characters were listed, but they had maybe 2 lines of dialogue total, and the guy was the main character as well as the narrator. I didn't even realize there were other characters until I read the production notes.

Morning everyone!!

question: what do you think Adams best book is?

Because I'm on a mission to find one of his books and I want to know which one to look for.

I haven't read any other, but I've read the "script" for Stone Cold Dead Serious (it's a play) and it's quite good.

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?" "Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good." He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?" "Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women." "My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much." Yeah, I feel your pain. If I tell my mom about it though, she'll probably order it for me. Unfortunately, when she ordered the Rent bible for me it was out of stock. The Other Adam

Why are people having so many issues getting the Rent Bible? Are that many people really ordering it?

I'm suprised they know what it is, lol. I still need to get my copy! I was going to get it three years ago from Barnes and Noble, but it was kind of expensive and then someone bought it...and I just haven't gotten around to getting it.

It was too expensive for me, so I just read it on my various trips to Borders. I don't spend more then $10 on a book. Of course, Anth's book will be an exception to that rule.

*ahem* I don't have the Rent bible yet. I also want the Aida book, the one for ttB, the Grimmerie, Ant's book, etc. etc.

I don't have money.

Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to

It's not that I don't have money...but I want to save the money for my Australia trip senior year. I figure if I can pay for most of the trip, then my parents will let me go again. They were nice enough to let me go this summer, but hopefully I'll be able to pay for most of it the next time.
