"Am I wrong in making the assumption that most people posting on this board are highschool students? That's the impression I was getting and wanted to make sure."

You are correct, this is the wrong assumption. Many of the posters on BWW are NOT in high school. You can't assume everyone will be willing to put up with AIM-speak just because no one has objected to it in this thread until now. That's mainly because many posters have given up on reading/posting in this thread due to the illegible/fangirly posts.

Dramatic Irony- No I am in High School, grade 11 actually. I'm glad I have discovered a place where I might actually be able to have some intelligent conversations. Believe it or not, I have friends who ask me to dumb-down my grammar. I don't really understand them, but some of them do like Rent. It's a bonus.

Also does anyone know where to find some of Anthony's photography? I've heard speculations that there will be some in Without You. Is it true? I would love to see yet another side of his creativity.

Sorry for assuming. re: Welcome, Anthony Rapp! (part two) I too find it irritating when I have to use different vocabulary than I am used to. I don't have the best grammar, that's for sure, but I have been told many times that I talk as though I'm 40. I don't understand this, but if my friend wants to speak as though she is in a chat room, so be it. Although I swear, if she uses the word "pwn" in actual conversation one more time, I will not be held responsible for my actions.

You can post that pic as much as you want; it's one of my favorites of him.

I've heard that some of his photography will be in "Without You." He really does try so many different mediums- I also heard somewhere that he plays the guitar sparodically.

Dramatic irony- You have no idea how many times in one day I hear Pwn come out of one of my friend's mouths. Also before i go anymore post crazy than I already have,( I have already posted more tonight than ever before)is there anything else I should know about posting on here?

Apparently it means "own". As in "I so pwn you." It's pronounced "pawn", according to my friend.

Any rules for posting? Not really, except, what we already seem to have covered. Look over your posts before you post them, edit as needed.

Words confuse me.

Photography is great. You can capture a moment and have it last forever.
luvtheemcee-Pwn is a slang term, i guess that's what you would call it, meaning to own someone. Let's say I said something that made you look bad, i would have Pwn'd you. It's pronounced poned. I have a certain friend that manages to use it in basically every sentence and i believe it has started to rub off on me. (gasp)

I also belive the term originated from an internet cartoon or comic if i'm correct.

I only know one person who says it and he says it pretty good, and not often so it's not very annoying, which is good I guess.

Heh. One friend pronounces it "pawned", another says "Owned with a P". I don't use the word so I couldn't really care either way.

And yes, I love photography. I'm too shy about being yelled at or mistaken as a tourist to take pictures of anyone other than my friends. *really has to get over that if she wants to get anywhere in life*

I'm loving all the "decorations"--the shots of Anthony are fabulous, keep 'em comin'! I'm glad this thread got started, as I was getting intimidated by the other one...It will be neat to read his book, it sounds like it will be a very interesting page-turner!

Oh! Photography discussion? I absolutely love it (and I suppose it helps that I grew up with it- my father's a photographer for a newspaper). I'm like you, Dramatic, I'm too shy to go around and take pictures of strangers. I basically just stick to nature, architecture, and the like.

I decided to take up digital photography as of late, but sadly my camera got in a bit of an accident shortly after I got it. Also I am patiently awaiting next semester when the Grade 12's are done their photography unit so I can us the school cameras, develop film and receive my own private teaching!

What an amazing thread.

Greetings everyone. I'm a long-time board reader, first time post-er. I check Broadway World almost every other day and I just love getting all the entertainment news in theatre. It's also great to see a group of enthusiasts here, assembling to praise Anthony Rapp. The decorations are wonderful, some of them are jaw-dropping because of their utter cuteness or because I've been swept away with temporary bewilderment. However, I love Anthony Rapp and I love all of you guys. Granted, I'm new here, but I've been following this board for a while and just want to say how grateful I am to get an opportunity to be a part of it.

Heartfelted-ness aside, I had no idea Anthony Rapp was actually handy with a camera. I mean, being Mark for all those years, and then David Searching... and he did have a camera in a Beautiful Mind on their wedding day. Then I just figured that it was a character trait he would never be able to escape because you just have to love him and his camera (with regards to him and his scarf). But yes, I would love to see his photography work. I'm the News Editor for the school paper- yes a senior, at last there is a light at the end of the tunnel- and I love photography. There's so much pressure in finding a great picture for the front page. Fortunately, we have a great Photography Editor.

I would love to see more decorations. You guys rock the world with those.

"How many times do I have to tell you, it's five hundred twenty-five thousand, five hundred and eighty-five point thirty-two minutes.
