My brother and sister-in-laws dog, Ch Prescott Charlie Bird Parker, competes today at Westminster. He is a Soft-coated Wheaton Terrier. Judging is at 2:45. Fingers crossed!
Wow it is Westminster time! I'll be keeping fingers crossed for you!
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."
Conan O'Brien
The Bucks County Courier Times said that he gave a performance on par to Charlie the Tuna's Macbeth. He was up for a "Petty" but lost to a Schnauser, a bitch named Talulah.
Sono I'm crossing my fingers for Ch. Prescott Charlie Bird Parker to win his breed and then onto the group and finally BEST IN SHOW. It's a bitch of a contest.
My two friends are the web photogs for the Westminster Show. If you go on the show's website all of the pictures that you see were taken by them.
David walked into the valley
With a stone clutched in his hand
He was only a boy
But he knew someone must take a stand
There will always be a valley
Always mountains one must scale
There will always be perilous waters
Which someone must sail

I hope so too! Wheatens never get the press that they deserve. Perhaps it is just with the few shows that I've watched, but they never seem to get that much air time. I already set the Replay (same thing as Tivo) for tonight's show.
Parker did not win Best of Breed. However, he did win the Award of Merit, so he was essentially first runner-up. He has already qualified for the National Dog Show next year.
