Is anyone else westworlding? The opening of Ep 4 was just unreal.
Those scenes in Mr. Delos "apartment"...the sleek, teak scandinavian furniture, the red vinyl & white vinyl records and record player (to the beats of Bryan Ferry and "Playing With Fire" by the Stones, and a Goldfish!! Westworld sure knows how to create an atmosphere of surrealism. The writing is much more tempered in tone so far this season. (But I still think plenty is going to go wrong very shortly...)
Didn’t like yesterday’s episode too much, because it felt like it was just filler and didn’t really add much. Though I can’t wait to see Maeve in Samaurai world next week!
I can’t believe Elsie is still alive!! But I wonder if she’s really Elsie....

Oh, I don't know -- I think the revelation that
the park was working on using their technology to keep people alive in host bodies after their own bodies had broken down
was kind of significant, and that little shot of
Ed Harris reacting in disgust to the kind of violence that he himself had so willingly participated in once upon a time
was pretty important too.
