A secret we don't like to get out there, it actually doesn't rain in Seattle as much as we'd like people to believe. Some say it's a myth created to keep people away from our fair city.

ETA:
Mobile, Alabama, actually topped a new list of soggiest cities, with more than 5 feet of rainfall annually, according to a study conducted by San Francisco-based WeatherBill, Inc.

The Southeast dominated the most rainy list, while the Pacific Northwest never enters the list until Olympia, Washington pops up at number 24.

I found this ad next to the headline much more interesting.

One of my family cats was gay. He used to seek out our other cat, who was sleeping most of the time, and just sort of hump him for a few seconds. They're both dead now. Not from being gay, though.

It's not the amount of rain, but the frequency that gives us the bad rap.

I actually really love rainy days. I just hate what they do to my hair.

Yeah, you'd need lots of anti-humectant here.

I was just in Seattle last weekend and it was lovely, wet or dry. More hills than I imagined, which makes sense given that it's between the mountains and the ocean.

Don't be too sure I'm as crooked as I'm supposed to be.

Loved seattle the few times I was there

I once saw a funny T shirt that said "Seattle Rainy Season January 1 to December 31"

It is a shame you lost the Music Hall theater though but you still have the 5 th Avenue

I wish we were on a wettest cities list.

Has anyone seen a flamboyant rat, yet?

Well, Waialeale is just about the wettest spot on the planet. So, Lihue should be right up there, too.
