A secret we don't like to get out there, it actually doesn't rain in Seattle as much as we'd like people to believe. Some say it's a myth created to keep people away from our fair city.
ETA:
Mobile, Alabama, actually topped a new list of soggiest cities, with more than 5 feet of rainfall annually, according to a study conducted by San Francisco-based WeatherBill, Inc.
The Southeast dominated the most rainy list, while the Pacific Northwest never enters the list until Olympia, Washington pops up at number 24.

Posted: 5/23/07 at 1:58pmOne of my family cats was gay. He used to seek out our other cat, who was sleeping most of the time, and just sort of hump him for a few seconds. They're both dead now. Not from being gay, though.

It's not the amount of rain, but the frequency that gives us the bad rap.

Posted: 5/23/07 at 4:29pmI was just in Seattle last weekend and it was lovely, wet or dry. More hills than I imagined, which makes sense given that it's between the mountains and the ocean.

Loved seattle the few times I was there
I once saw a funny T shirt that said "Seattle Rainy Season January 1 to December 31"
It is a shame you lost the Music Hall theater though but you still have the 5 th Avenue

Posted: 5/23/07 at 9:08pmWell, Waialeale is just about the wettest spot on the planet. So, Lihue should be right up there, too.
