What ELSE are You Passionate About??

Asked this question on another thread, but figured I would bring it here... as I type this, I am watching the Met game on TV, and listening to an internet radio feed of the Pittsburgh Steelers 1st preseason game. People I know think its weird to be into theater AND sports... (dont know why??!!!) I dont.. my dad was the same way.

What about you guys???

Well, the entirety of my interest in sports consists of the Yankees....other than that...I really love anything by Jane Austen...that's really my only other obsession.

Sports? NAH!

Besides broadway, I'm musically orientated, classically trained pianist as well as a singer. I'm a huge literature analysis buff...it's my extremely nerdy side :-P

i play the piano and the guitar. i also dance 5 days a week, so i'm usually pretty busy.

Philosophy, sociology, libraries, architecture, politics, design, plants, museums, cooking and some individual sports (tennis, golf, ice skating and gymnastics.)

Literature. Dance. Music. Movies. I play the guitar, and sing. I write some music. I keep a livejournal. I would say I'm rather passionate about that.

Writing, definitely. Poetry is SO therapeutic, I write poems like I would keep a diary. And people - passionate 'bout them, too.

I love writing. Not poetry or short stories, but essays and such. Call me a freak, I guess. I also really enjoy just sitting around listening to music and/or reading.

Soccer, running, basketball, and the Red Sox(reverse the curse baby!). I like writing too, but not as much as I used too. I'm more of a sports/broadway kind of gal.

Oh, and South Park. I am passionate about South Park. Cartman rocks my socks.

EDIT: Singing!! I just assumed that was related to Broadway. I <3 singing :)

The Metropolitan Opera
The Boston Pops (and their gorgeous conductor!)
gardening (especially my tomato plants!)
cooking (I just made four huge batches of pignoli cookies)
my travels in Europe
my niece and nephew

If you are referring to leisure activities --

Travel ( Europe, USA, and Asia)
The arts ( including the theatre) and history
Books and music
Gardening and different cuisines
Sports - mostly as a spectator ( I'm passionate about Formula One racing and have gone twice to the Grand Prix in Monaco and one in Montreal.. and used to enjoy watching tennis on TV - I liked sports where individuals can show their extreme competitiveness, although I used to enjoy watching team sports, too)

I play guitar and sing.
I like many other things other than broadway because when you think about it, broadway is an expensive habit.

Broadway is the good things in life! :)

but, aside from Broadway, i sing everywhere, i write music and poetry as well as some short stories, post on message boards including a BERNADETTE PETERS one, play Karaoke Revolution 1 & 2, hang out with friends, chat online, read, and listen and sing to music all day long.
oh... i'm also stressing lately about college!... if no one has noticed.
oh... and i work at Coldstone Creamery.
