What I hope for (re: the plane crash}

What I hope for is that we see and hear all about this pilot.

Just like we are forced to see and hear about criminals, pop stars who don't have underwear on, Paris Hilton who does nothing, Brangelina, and you get my drift.

I want to know all about SULLY's life, HIS background, what HE thinks. For a change, let's focus on the shining stars of humanity instead of on the unworthy.

That would be nice, but he may not want to be in the limelight like they all do. He may be of the mind that he was 'just doing his job'. He does deserve to be in the spotlight, though.

Hee- you mean like TMZ's "Who'd You Rather?" poll, which right now is asking who'd you rather, Sully or Hugh Jackman? (Sully's in the lead.)

Girly-this morning I was listening to a radio talk show host give his own very dramatic rendering of the event. At the end he mentioned that a few hours later, the pilot was seen alone, at the airport, having coffee.

I guess he really does consider it "all in a day's work." this makes me admire him all the more and why I think he should be honored and paid attention to. Of course if he doesn't want the limelight, we must respect him.

If it weren't for him, none of the other emergency crews would have been able to even help any survivors to shore. Because of his intelligence and skill, those people are alive.
