What Isaiah Washington MEANT...

... according to tonight's Larry King interview is "faggot" not in the anti-gay way, but in the way An Coulter meant it when she called John Edwards a faggot.

I hope everybody feels better now.

re: What Isaiah Washington MEANT...

He knew exactly what it meant, just like Ann did. They should marry and then sign a suicide pact.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

re: What Isaiah Washington MEANT...

What did Evan "Austin B Steel" Almighty mean when he said this?

re: What Isaiah Washington MEANT...

He actually DID explain how his use of the n-word meant about his specific behavior not on his ethic background.

Not surprisingly, he deleted it not long after posting it.

He can't really expect us to believe that . Well at least he didn't say it was a British slang for a cigarette or an anachronistic term for a bundle of sticks.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

Much like Ann and Isaiah.

And does that change the end result? Are we to forgive because someone claims to be so ignorant that they are unaware of the abject inappropriateness of what they said?

re: What Isaiah Washington MEANT...

I don't understand why Larry King can discuss the use of Faggot and then say "The N Word."

re: What Isaiah Washington MEANT...

The code is so ridiculous.

Washington would have been so much better off if he had said, "Of COURSE I'm homophobic. I'm a heterosexual man. And I was fighting with ANOTHER heterosexual man. Of COURSE one of us used the word 'faggot.'" Instead it's the wimpy, "I'm not homophobic, no way." People should just admit what their "isms" are and then work to eradicate them. But the first step is admitting you have a problem.

I'm Thoreauaphobic...is there somewhere I can go to eradicate this phobia or is it something I just have to learn to live with?

re: What Isaiah Washington MEANT...

That's not a phobia, that's a documented healthy psychological response.

Washington's actory emotions are completely unbelievable, I have to say.

Because they're much more afraid of N Words than they are of faggots, JoeKv.

It was particularly telling when Larry, using his own Roxy-like pretzel logic, got Washington to somehow consider the firings of himself and Don Imus as signs of a new "intolerance" that didn't exist even six months ago.

what isaiah washington meant...

When pressed he said his use of the word, to him, meant someone who is weak, not worthy of respect as a man. Is that really any better? What a twit!

He's a jerk and of course, was rewarded by the NAACP who gave him an Image Award this year, after he said what he said. Disgraceful.

Here's what Isaiah really meant:

MY CAREER IS IN THE TOILET NOW! PLEASE TAKE ME BACK! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE! I WANT TO ACT AGAIN BECAUSE I'M INCAPABLE OF HOLDING A REAL JOB! YOU HAVE TO HELP ME! SOMEONE! ANYONE! EVEN A FAGGOT! JUST GIVE ME A JOB!!!

what isaiah washington meant...

The use of the homophobic slur was actually the fault of Patrick Dempsey for being LATE and not being a leader.
