Posted: 4/4/06 at 1:53pmI have great fashion sense, but I want to go on the show just for the money. How much fun could I have with $5000?!?! A LOT!

Posted: 4/4/06 at 1:56pmDid anybody see the show when they gave the girl $50 000 instead of $5000? And they went shopping in PARIS instead of New York! MY friends and I watched in awe as they handed over that Visa card. It was nuts!

Love the show! I have a crush on Clinton, as well as some of the guy on 'While You Were Out,' Like Evan Farmer!
BTW, Liev Schreiber is a client of Nick's? It looks like Liev just gets a burr type haircut everytime I've seen him!

Posted: 4/4/06 at 3:03pmDid anyone read THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB" as a kid? There's a character, Claudia, who is supposed to be artistic and creative and always comes up with the most outrageous ensemble to wear. Anyway, last year, at this other message board, we were suggesting titles for new BABY-SITTERS CLUB books and someone came up with CLAUDIA AND REALITY TV." Tagline: Claudia becomes a contestant on "What Not To Wear." I thought that was funny.

MTVMANN: I wonder who got that haircut first: Liev or Nick?
Mom, that would work perfectly. Bonus points for clunky shoes. They HATE those.

I LOVED Wayne...mostly because of the episode where, in an attempt to show this guy that he could find jeans that actually fit him properly, went into the dressing room with the guy, took off his jeans and made the guy put them on! What other show has a host who will give up his own clothing to make a point!?!
Now, what I'd like to see happen on WNTW is a plus sized woman that they actually take to decent stores. Last time there was a "larger" girl on, all of her clothes came from Lane Bryant. Now, I shop at Lane Bryant, and I can tell you, there is NO WAY I'd want $5000 worth of clothes from that store!

Posted: 4/4/06 at 3:17pmUgh, or they'll send a plus-sized woman to stores where they make tiny clothes for tiny people. The woman gets upset and cries to the camera that night. Sometimes I cry, too. What a show!

Good show indeed - I like to catch it on the reruns. And I agree, that stylist is wonderful. I would love to have him do my hair.
Here's a quandry, perhaps you WNTW fans can help settle. A woman I work with loves (and I mean loves) this show. Which is interesting, because she's not a great dresser, not bad, but not fab either, but I digress.
Well, she came to a work event in a light chino trouser and a black turtleneck sweater. Harmless enough - very simple, J. Crew looking. With this, she asked if she should wear brown or black shoes. I suggested black. She opted for brown, because on WNTW they told her that the shoes should be in the same "family" of colors as the trousers. So she is walking around with khaki trousers, a black sweater and brown shoes - and it doesn't look quite right to me. What's your take on this fashionistas?

this is precisely why they dont do plus sized girls.. Not to mention who wants to see a plus sized girl on tv.. Honestly.. And I'm not saying that to be mean, Cuz you know anything over a 7 is obese.
