If you won't go away, at least get another clip. All that one demonstrates is that people get annoyed when ambushed on the street, whether by right-wing or left wing a$$holes. And that website you keep pimping sucks.
Sing another song. This one is old.

So what is her deal? I don't click on her link because I don't trust it. What does she keep linking to and why is she so frantic to have us click?

I plugged in some different numbers. Here's what a person gets for being single, no health insurance and making $60,000.
"You are required to have health insurance. If you don't, you will pay a tax penalty of $695 per year up to a maximum of three times that amount ($2,085) per family or 2.5 percent of household income."

My numbers came out that I might be eligible for a tax credit.

Goth, the tax doesn't kick in until 2014, which is the same time the state health insurance exchanges come online to help people find insurance. The tax also doesn't make it up to $695 for several years after 2014. Finally, there are a bunch of exemptions to it.

Goth--who do you know who is single, making $60K a year, and has no health insurance?
That's one hell of a part-time job. Or that's one cheap, irresponsible bastard.
Besty, I know of some freelancers who are in that position (mostly of the "I'm young and indestructible" mindset)
$60K a year and no insurance?
$60K?? They should pay a stupidity tax, then.
One trip to the E.R. could wipe them out financially.
Nothing changes for me.
This may be my age (24) talking, but what the heck is an investment tax?

I don't pity anyone who makes 60,000 and doesn't have health insurance, sorry. However, you're in the same boat if you're single, no health insurance, and make only $11,000.
It says I'll be fined 695 dollars, but it also says I'll be eligible for Medicaid as an individual with income at or below 133 percent of the federal poverty level.
I guess time will tell.

Before the bill was passed our group carrier raised my firm's rate 11% based on "industry standard increase", because of the possibility of the bill passing, and not because of our group experience! And we did not need reform?
