Hi ya'll:
I'm at a summer musical theater camp and we're doing some skits. Me and a couple of friends have written a funny skit where Judy Garland runs into the "Simple Life" girls in OZ (they got lost! They were looking for crawdads!).
I need you're expert advice on what they could all sing! Like "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off" or "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better" or can be a pop song.
Would love your ideas!! Thanks all!

Having seen the Paris Hilton video, I can assure you there's one thing that she does better than Judy ever could have...

not true, Judy had MANY, MANY lovers.
Some of them were gay men, and one was even a girl!

What about:
"Bang, Bang, Bang, went the Heiress!"

hahahahahaha that's amazing.
buzz buzz buzz went the dogs
zing zing zing went the gucci
from the moment they landed in oz...
man, that's weak.
i need more sleep.
blow, blow, blow went the airhead
yes, yes, yes, went her beau
"damage control" went her family
"time to stay on the down-low".
"Suck Suck Suck" went the cheap whore
"Don't Stop, Babe!" went the guy
"My jaw is tired" said that airhead
"Smile slut, you're be-ing filmed."
I think we're getting off the subject here - Paris is supposed to be singing too...

Did you ever see a ventriloquist talk and drink a glass of milk at the same time?
Well this is kind of like Paris...you pretty much the same thing.
You'd probably want something that's both funny AND sexy, which isn't exactly a combination Judy did a lot of. Try having Judy teach Paris "Put Your Arms Around Me, Honey" from "In the Good Old Summertime" ... or possibly "Doin' What Comes Naturally" from "Annie Get Your Gun," which might be funny sung by an hieress. Or maybe just do "We're Off to See the Wizard" and have Paris do the little dance step.
Keep it short and keep it funny.
And above all else, Keep It Gay.
Cool ideas gang! Many thanks!
While The Trolly SOng would be great...do you guys know of any pop songs that also might fit this situation?
Here's the background: Our main character takes a wrong turn and ends up in OZ and meets Judy and asks for directions. Then the Simple Life girls come along..they're lost too (having just fished for crawdads in the bayou...a real thing they did on their show!). Do you like that idea?
So this is where the duet comes in. The trolly Song could work. If you might have other suggestions, i would looove to hear 'em! Mucho thanks!

Nothin' But the Radio On....
My cyclone brings all the boys to the yard...
I think what your Trolley Song is missing is a Paris verse with a good "bling bling bling", "ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching".

"Having seen the Paris Hilton video, I can assure you there's one thing that she does better than Judy ever could have..."
Really? I didn't think she looked like she was doing anything well at all.
I like the Anyone You Can Do, I Can Do Better suggestion.
I think you need to go to Gwen Stefani's past lyrics for inspiration...
"All I wanted was a simple thing, a simple kind of life"
"Take the pink ribbon off my eyes.
I'm exposed and it's no big surprise"
"I always kinda knew I'd end up your ex-girlfriend"
"You know some real bad tricks, and it's no big surprise"
"You're really lovely, underneath it all"
"Here we are now, going to the South side."
"Now let me blow your mind."
Wow guys...you are brillant! Your help was invaluable!
We've decided to try to make "Somewhere Over the Bimbo" and "The Trolly Song" work into the skit. I really appreciate your help!
We'll be writing one more skit and I'll let you know soon WHOM it is this time....cause you guys rock!
Many thanks :)
*ahem* "I'm Just A Girl Who Can't Say No"
