Well, let's see. My checking account is overdrawn, I'm completely broke and I think my latest relationship is about to end. I'm not really smiling today either.

I am smiling today because my first trip to the city next week is all coming together and I know it will be amazing.

And the weather is absolutly beautiful.

The weather is beautiful, and I've just been hired to be the solo flutist for the soundtrack of a new Estee Lauder advertising campaign.

I'll actually be able to pay my rent next month solely on my performing income...a reason to smile, indeed!!

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you. Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

I saw Sweeney Todd last night and it was amazing. I met most of the cast after the show and they were all extremely nice (two of them even commented on my outfit-I had actually dressed up for the theatre, unlike most of the people there).

It's also a gorgeous day out and Central Park is just wonderful.
