Well, since it was pointed out that I’ve been cluttering up these boards for a year, I thought I’d jot a few thoughts down.
Even though I did find this site because of an interest in what was going on in NYC theatre, I actually decided to start posting more out of an interest in the social aspect. I felt, and still feel, that this is an opportunity to experience the beginning stages of where human interaction is headed.
Along those lines, I discovered how difficult it is to get your point across when you have most of the usual ‘tools’ removed – little things like inflection and eye contact. I certainly have not taken to it like a duck to water, and have made a few blunders – some, unfortunately, that turned out to be alienating and damaging.
But, as in all the other areas of my life, I have simply tried to learn what I could and carry on with at least the best of intentions.
I truly enjoy the opportunity to chat with people literally from all over the globe, and have really treasured having this introduction lead to some real-world friendships along the way.
Overall, despite whatever goes on in our little neighborhood, I think most people here are wonderfully fun and invigorating – bravo to us!
And just because, a very special thank you to the beautiful posters whom I feel lucky enough to call friends, and also for the vast awareness and knowledge made available here for me to learn and grow from (especially from Margo, Magruder and Namo.)

) Thank you for your gift.
