Did everyone get iPods? I know, like, ten people who got iPods. It's creepy.

No offense, but this thread just screams "I got nicer presents than you" pissing contest. I'm sure that wasn't your intent, but come on. Holiday spirit, anyone? It shouldn't be about how many presents you got and how expensive they were.
Chag Sameach. :)
Half of last month's rent.
I have a better question wickedphantom. What did YOU give to someone?
my credit card bill. oy.

Oh, you guys know that you were excited about the gifts around the holidays when you were younger. Maybe she did give others many things...you don't know.
I'm not Jewish, but...
Happy Hanukah to all at Broadway World!

I'm sure wickedphantom gave as well as received. But seriously, it shouldn't be about the presents.

yes, I too gave...but I was just asking! If I offended anyone, my deepest regrets and apologies.

Tonight I got a really pretty pink sweater and a cool jacket :)
I got posters from Rent, Les Mis, Phantom, Aida and Lion King
(one each from my dad and the rest of the jewish side of my family)
I also have a birthday and christmas coming up... ah the joys of december
I know its not all about the presents, and I don't like it when people assume that just because I am part jewish and part christian that I get tons of gifts, because I don't. My parents plan it so that it all evens out, and my extended family usually sends one nice present to count for hannukah, christmas, and my birthday...
Anyways... happy holidays
A partridge in a pear---oh, no, wait, wrong holiday.
Digital camera, tickets to see Stokes in February, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang DVD, B'way: The American Musical DVDs. YAY!
Damn, emcee! My parents must hate me! *cries* I've only gotten yarn to knit my sister a scarf (she's tricky), Jon Stewart's book from my Dad, and a request from my mom if she can keep the money my grandmother sent me.
*sigh*
Oneblazeofglory- I got those posters too (Minus Rent and Aida- I already had those two!)...
a trip to new york in february, an american eagle gift certificate, and a barnes and noble gift certificate.

No worries, Wickedphantom. You didn't offend anyone. Posters here like to make mountains out of mole holes. And boy, was this a mole hill. All the person did was ask what anyone else got. Geesh.

No mountains here. Just frayed nerves and a bit of a sensitivity to those sorts of questions for reasons of my own.
ETA- I have no problem with any poster here. Seriously. Chag Sameach to everyone. :)

haha, Lael - I got them all tonight because it's the only night that I'm home.
I'm going back to school tomorrow.
Oh, fine. I'm just sitting here on the opposite end of the country from my family, wallowing in self-pity and something else...what was that called? Oh, yeah, independance! *does happy-but-poor dance*
