mmmm latkes. i can't wait to go home when finals and this crazy semester are over. then i can have lotta latkes and see my parents and my old friends.... ooo this is making me excited. i haven't been home since june, my longest time away from home without visiting. i will get to see my parents for dinner one nite in vegas during thanksgiving week, but thats it. yay for holidays!

On a more realistic note, I don't know. My birthday is December 8th, and often get screwed over with the "combo gift" like many December babies do. I actually like being surprised, but if family members ask I'll just say gift certificates to Coach and the Apple store. There are a few shows I want to see, so if any of them are into going and want to take me...great!

When you get older, it just doesn't matter as much. There are no eight nights of presents anymore (for me, anyway). Hanukkah was magical as a child! The eighth night was always the big gift...a Barbie dreamhouse, a color TV, Atari, etc.

I kinda dislike latkes. I also had a bad experience when I was younger because we were making latkes for this youth group sleepover and was in charge of grating potatoes and i accidentally grated part of my finger into the potato mix and didnt feel it for awhile.

I really don't know what I want for Chanukah. This is my last year living at home(college next year!) and my mom is all into the fact that its my last one. I'm incredibly lucky and I don't have a lot that I want. I'm having them donate money in my name to BC/EFA and a couple other charities that I support. I'm asking for some cast recordings maybe some bags. I adore bags.
