What is the best thing about BWW

I say the community that it has created. We are all here, united in our love of theatre. It has given true friendships to many of us who don't have many friends (see love of theatre), and has created a place for us to be ourselves in the crazy world that we live in.

Amen, jacob! That's exactly why I love this place so much. We all have a similar love for something, and we can discuss it here while being ourselves, and everyone knows what you're going through if you need help.
I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

The best thing is that the IQ level is higher than what I normally see at school. There's none of this gossipy she-said-he-said crap, just chilled out (except in the case of Korean Pyschos at Canadian immigration) conversation.

SOM-Tiff is just...unique. No need to make fun of her or her...uniqueness(is that a word?).

It's all about the people. Witty, warm, wise and friendly! re: What is the best thing about BWW
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

The people. And the laughter. And the friendship. And the stories.

But, mostly, it's all about the people. All of them.

re: What is the best thing about BWW

The best thing about BWW is easily the people that make it what it is. All the wit and knowledge everyone has is really cool. The people I've met on this site are all really good people and new screen names appear everyday.

re: What is the best thing about BWW

Gives me a way to keep up with broadway shows, seeing as I live in the middle of nowhere and have only seen one show.

The fact that people base their opinions about you by the things you say, not what you look like, how you act, who ou hang out with etc. I've met quite a few people who I would definately hang out with in person if I lived near them...

Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do... RIP Jason

I'm like, crying with laughter right now. Oh, how I love you guys, but:

1) I'm Chinese, not Korean. (Yep, we've all got narrow eyes and black hair but it pretty much ends there.)

*snicker*

2) To your credit, I am sort of psychotic when I'm at Immigration, so I can understand the mistake.

3) Thanks for the defense, and the uhh...compliment, Jacob. I think.

4) Yes, I'm unique and that's why y'all love me.

Or something.

I am just trying to stop any more large fights like the ones that erupted yesterday (I feel like it is my duty as a legend to protect this board.)

There was a large fight yesterday and I missed out? I thought I was on here for like, the whole day! I feel that as a longer-time legend, it is my duty to find out the details and then gossip about it behind everyone's back later while you serve and protect. Do give details!

re: What is the best thing about BWW

We had about 3 political threads going on at once and there was one statement that didn't come on a computer the way it sounded in the poster's head, and it all resulted in a huge name-calling republican bashing liberal trashing brawl.

It's great for venting when you're upset, and all of the people are fantastic.

And speaking of fantastic people, Tiff - I think som was referring to the Korean psychos you encountered at work, not calling you a Korean psycho!

You're very right Chyrs. I've seen this first hand and am glad I've kept my (rare) bouts of worship to threads so large, anyone who's taken the time to go through every page deserves to find my incriminating posts! re: What is the best thing about BWW
