My high school's mascot was the scottie dog (go ahead and laugh- I do!) and when Who Let The Dogs Out came out it was played NON STOP at my school. It was sickening beyond imagination!

I was gonna say CHA-CHA SLIDE, but I'm gonna go with MAMBO #5 for one very big reason - IT ISN'T A MAMBO! The tempo is wrong for a mambo, there is virtually no use of Latin percussion, and it's syncopated. It's more of a swing shuffle!
For you musical theatre geeks who don't know what real mambo is, lsten to the song "Where You Are" from KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN. Or for that matter, The Dance at the Gym from WEST SIDE STORY.
Better yet, go out and find yourself a Tito Puente record!

We have a "club junkie" block of music at my work, and it's kinda excruciating every time it comes on. I don't mind old-school club though, it amuses me. The one song that kills me though....
