Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our fingers through the flame?
Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain?

day, the past few years have been pretty tough on my parents......I try to remember them as they once were, as both were truly stunning...but sometimes when I'm up there it's hard. They drove me crazy when I lived with them........and now I cherish every moment I am with them.
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

Oh. Well, treasure every moment that you spend with them. I seriously cannot be with my parents enough. I love them so much. My wife, on the other hand, has a terrible relationship with her folks.
My parents are in their 70's... funny how when I was younger I moved as far away from the family as I could... ending up in Seattle. About as far as I could get within the US. Now that I'm planning to move back east so I can be closer. I really hate being this far away from my family anymore.

1. The fact that I can't seem to sleep-in anymore. 2. The fact that my eyes are now definately bigger than my stomach. 3. The fact that i'm almost too old to be in "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown."
when the lyrics to "growing up" from merrily we roll along start becoming all to relevant. having to make decisions about the future instead of going "whatever." trying to decide what i want to do with my life, where to go to school. i mean it's all reletive- i'm not talking about wearing depends, here, so by comparison, maybe i don't sound old at all. but i'm starting to feel... "older". [btw, i'm only 19 but i collect records, otherwise known as albums or LPs, so you wouldn't be getting any blank stares from me, cjr! and there's a turntable right next to this here computer. see, you're not *that* old!]
