Posted: 11/25/03 at 7:53pmDo a venti mocha and a couple of cigarettes count as dinner? I've been running around like a loony cleaning my apartment and packing to go home for a real meal.

Newyorkuniq, I'm sorry that your still not feeling well. Hope your much better before the Holiday.
As to what I had for dinner--soup. Plain and simple. Cream of Chicken and Mushroom because my tummy was a little upset and I didn't want anything heavy.

Subway 'rocks', especially the Subway Melt.
I just ate noodles with chicken, carrot, onion, sweetcorn, pepper and some crazy sauce I made up with chilli, sesame oil and hoisin sauce. I drank water.

Shopping for yourself, huh? I did that last Saturday. I saw it, I wanted it, I bought it. No holds bared--but I walked away happy!
Except for the iPod which I'm still making my mind up about.
BTW--it was soup again tonight. Now I'm not feeling to good.

Whoa! you guys need a serious dietician visit. I would not do well with 90% of what's been consumed here!
More fruit& veggies, grains, lean protein folks. OK, wash it down with an occassional drink...but eat right!

Tonight...shrimp w/basil, tomotoes, black olives served with fettucinni, and a green salad.
Then making cranberries w/poached pears, and a pecan pie.
Tomorrow is Turkey Day. A day to give thanks for all our blessings.
Best wishes. Jose'

Posted: 11/26/03 at 11:48pmYou know who actually has really good soup...Austin's Cafe on 7th Avenue and 26th Street. I used to work right down the block on 26th and would occasionally get soup from there, and it is delicious. They also have very nice salads and sandwhiches. If you're ever in the area I highly reccomend it. There is probably more than one location too.
