* an open cd of THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL
* a stack of various cds
* my digital camera
* my Treo currently being charged
To my right sits
* a copy of the DVD "Colt Cowboy Country" (doing my bit to support gay cowboys) which sits on top of
* a paperback copy of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Kidnapped," the story of man-boy infatuation across the highlands of Scotland, which sits on
* of a map of the Highlands so I can follow their travels,
and all resting on
* on a stack of paid bills

To the left of my screen, I have a speaker. To the right is the other speaker, a printer, a phone, a long distance calling card, a glass of water, and a full CD binder.

To the right: my treo, remote control and clock.
To the left: clear desk space.
Ahead:
First shelf - a little holder with a signed 8X10 of B.D.Wong and business cards, stamps and favorite photos and cards. Also on that shelf a digital camera and a space shuttle souvenir from the Air and Space Musuem in D. C.
2nd shelf - Matrioshka Dolls, Cup of Sorrow from coronation of Nikolai II, and Russian Eggs and icons.
3rd shelf - books and a metal monkey candle holder.

To my left my desk organizer thing, on top of which sits my digital camera, pictures from my wedding, and the shot glass from Iraq that my brother in law sent me.
To my right sits the photo of everyone from the DC gathering and my husband's side of the desk. (We share one of those huge L-shaped desks)

chapter book, half filled bottle of water, blank cds, health insurance mail, airborne medicine, chapstick, watch, random pens, nail clippers, necklace, pencils, blockbuster giftcard, madagascar penguin toys, checkbook, $20 bills, paychecks, ripped envelopes, bag of goodies from a student still there from christmas, dog collar, eye drops, desk calendar, hot chocolate mix container, box of peeps from last easter (im jousting them sometime), candle, echinacea, dog statue, stamps, piggy bank, snowglobe, ice breakers, restaurant menu, foot creme, artistic desk statue, clay shapped like an apple from another student, ake headset from halloween, safety pins, coins, blank sheets of paper, movie ticket stubs
i think i should clean my desk.

To the left is a stack of cds, a gift box with shampoos in it, 2 signed DRS playbills, my work schedule for next week, a magazine holder with magazines in it, a cd rack, a box of checks, a box of floppy disk, my academic advisor's business card, various receipts, the address and phone number of a family I babysit for, a picture frame with nothing in it, a desk organizer(ironic?) with pens and pencils, headphones, a spray bottle, and the programs from my last 2 shows.
To the right is a water glass, a key that opens I don't know what, a cup with colored pencils in it, a stack of blank cds, my Wicked OBCR, my digital camera, my credit card bill, 2 candles, and my iPod USB cable.
Yaaay clutter. Especially random clutter.

Wow Zep, that must be one big computer desk!
My PC is actually at the bottom of my desk area, in a portion designed for the PC - but my monitor - well, that is a whole different discussion.

Left: Photopaper, Rhodes college info packet, term paper notecard box, a sharpie, the original producers dvd, some coins, the alfred hitchcock masterpiece dvd collection, itunes giftcard, 2 tapes that have random tv shows on them, speaker, ipod usb cord, a magazine, and trojan.vundo removal info. nasty virus.
Right: My cell phone, printer, thing of blank cds, billy dean cd, 2 pens, notecards, memory stick thing,other speaker, and two picture cds.
it's a lot messier than it sounds.

Shockingly, my desk is clean! To the left of my monitor, a small digital clock, computer speaker, the CPU. To the right, the other speaker, 2 cork coasters, one with a glass of ice water on it, scotch tape dispenser, Wile E. Coyote coffee mug full of pens, scissors, etc., and a box of kleenex. Add: Oh, yeah, my mouse, and my Toy Story Woody & Buzz mouse pad.
