Naive or not, evian does taste different. Whether you like it better or not, that's personal taste. At home I just have a Brita filter, and it does the trick.

I like Aquafina and Dasani, but I really dislike the taste of Arrowhead.

they most certainly DO taste different. I enjoy Poland Spring and Aquafina. I think Dannon and Deer Park have an awful metalic taste.

You know, I finally tried the Fiji stuff. I don't really get the appeal. I have a Brita filter when I'm at school, though.

Bottled water does taste different. Evian tends to taste like plastic. Poland spring lately has started to taste funky on occasion. Personally I like Dasani, Fiji, Dannon, and that snap2O stuff. (But I just blame the New York Public school system for only selling products from snapple...and who knows how snap2O tastes like when it's warm). Tap water through a brita filter or boiled is perfectly fine for me.

When I was living up there in the God's country of West Milford, NJ, we had the best h20 coming through our very own well in our own front yard. It's not the same getting bottled, but where I work we have a Poland Spring cooler, and it's not half bad.

I use a Brita filter for the most part, but as far as bottled water my favorite is Aquafina, it has the least taste. Evian tastes almost sweet and Dasani tastes bitter (blech). Then again everyone thinks I'm insane for thinking that the various colors of M&Ms taste different.

As long as it's bottled, to me it's better than anything. There's something about tap water that mentally freaks me out. To me it feels gritty and like there's worms floating around in it.

Sadly the water from the tap here tastes like pool water. So we drink alot of Fruit 2-0 and Fiji.

I'm favorable to Dasani. Their bottle design is pretty cool. I know there are different "tastes" to different brands of bottled water, but it doesn't really bother me. Only Evian, just because it's so much more expensive...But yeah, water's water. As long as it's clean, I'll drink it.

I like Dasani the best. Poland Spring tastes weird to me.

Water isn't just water (unless it's distilled) -- different sources have a difference balance of minerals which affect the taste. Hence different brands of bottled water taste different.
I personally enjoy VOLVIC water the most; it has a certain sweetness that I really like. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued in Canada, so I try to grab a few bottles whenever I'm in NYC.

Who likes those flavored waters??
I tried the Aquafina flavored, and it's horrible. Taste like "diet water", if that makes sense. Not very natural tasting at all.
Nestle's flavored water is better. Especially the lemon. It has a much more natural fruit taste.

Anyone that claims that all bottled waters taste the same because they're all water clearly don't pay much attention.
My personal favorites are Fiji, Poland Spring, and SmartWater.

I made the mistake of buying a bottle of Aquafina's flavoured water a couple of days ago. Tasted terrible - it was as if I was drinking water containing a diluted Flintstone vitamin.
I stick with Dasani. Has anyone tasted mineral water when it's in a mostly frozen state?
