"Did I ever tell you about the man who taught his ass to talk? His whole abdomen would move up and down you dig farting out the words. It was unlike anything I had ever heard. This ass talk had sort of a gut frequency. It hit you right down there like you gotta go. You know when the old colon gives you the elbow and it feels sorta cold inside, and you know all you have to do is turn loose? Well this talking hit you right down there, a bubbly, thick stagnant sound, a sound you could smell. This man worked for a carnival you dig, and to start with it was like a novelty ventri-liquist act. Real funny, too, at first. He had a number he called The Better Ole that was a scream, I tell you. I forget most of it but it was clever. Like, "Oh I say, are you still down there, old thing?" "Nah I had to go relieve myself." After a while the ass start talking on its own. He would go in without anything prepared and his ass would ad-lib and toss the gags back at him every time. Then it developed sort of teeth-like little raspy in-curving hooks and start eating. He thought this was cute at first and built an act around it, but the asshole would eat its way through his pants and start talking on the street, shouting out it wanted equal rights. It would get drunk, too, and have crying jags nobody loved it and it wanted to be kissed same as any other mouth. Finally it talked all the time day and night, you could hear him for blocks screaming at it to shut up, and beating it with his fist, and sticking candles up it, but nothing did any good and the asshole said to him Its you who will shut up in the end. Not me. Because we dont need you around here any more. I can talk and eat AND ****. After that he began waking up in the morning with a transparent jelly like a tadpoles tail all over his mouth. This jelly was what the scientists call un-D.T., Undifferentiated Tissue, which can grow into any kind of flesh on the human body. He would tear it off his mouth and the pieces would stick to his hands like burning gasoline jelly and grow there, grow anywhere on him a glob of it fell. So finally his mouth sealed over, and the whole head would have have amputated spontaneous - except for the EYES you dig. Thats one thing the asshole COULDN'T do was see. It needed the eyes. But nerve connections were blocked and infiltrated and atrophied so the brain couldnt give orders any more. It was trapped in the skull, sealed off. For a while you could see the silent, helpless suffer-ing of the brain behind the eyes, then finally the brain must have died, because the eyes WENT OUT, and there was no more feeling in them than a crabs eyes on the end of a stalk."

Two of my all time favorites:
"Let me give you a little inside information about God. God likes to watch. He's a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts. He gives you this extraordinary gift, and then what does He do, I swear for His own amusement, his own private, cosmic gag reel, He sets the rules in opposition. It's the goof of all time. Look but don't touch. Touch, but don't taste. Taste, don't swallow. Ahaha. And while you're jumpin' from one foot to the next, what is he doing? He's laughin' His sick, f****n' a** off! He's a tight-a**! He's a SADIST! He's an absentee landlord! Worship that? NEVER!" - John Milton (Al Pacino), "The Devil's Advocate
"Now I have a machine gun. Ho ho ho." - Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), "Die Hard"

Mine is 'Wendy, light of my life, I'm not going to hurt you. You didn't let me finish. I said I'm not going to hurt you, I'm just going to bash your ****ing brains in.' And 'Your going to need a bigger boat'. Not hard to guess what that one's from

Oh, I like these ones https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.cfm?boardname=off&thread=853531#1114254
And most of these https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.cfm?boardname=off&thread=915827#2604868
=) But one favorite that springs to mind is from the Marquis de Sade in Quills:
"Virgin Birth! An entire religion built on an oxymoron!"
Sorry, that was totally horrible but I couldn't resist. Seriously though, how about:
[Returning Austin's personal property after reanimating him.]
Guard: One Swedish-made penis enlarger pump.
Austin: [to Vanessa] That's not mine.
Guard: One credit card receipt for Swedish-made penis enlarger pump signed by Austin Powers.
Austin: I'm telling ya baby that's not mine.
Guard: One warranty card for Swedish-made penis enlarger pump, filled out by Austin Powers.
Austin: I don't even know what this is! This sort of thing ain't my bag, baby.
Guard: One book, Swedish-made Penis Enlarger Pumps And Me: This Sort of Thing Is My Bag Baby, by Austin Powers.

I love these quotes from The Usual Suspects:
"How do you shoot the devil in the back? And what if you miss?"
"and like that. He's gone."
Also, Ed Norton's "F**k the-" rant in 25th hour. I'd post it, buut...well that is a lot of the f-word.

from Ghost World (an exchange not really a quote but nevertheless):
Doug: What's up, Josh? Give me two packs of cigarettes today. Working overtime: Sixteen hours.
Doug: And nature's nectar, wake-up juice. And give me six of these beef jerky's. I'm hungry enough to chew the crotch out of a rag doll.
Sidewinder Boss: Hey. Hey. How many times do I have to tell you? No shirt, no service. Get the hell out of my store. What do you think this is, Club Med?
Doug: It's called America, dude. Learn the rules.
Sidewinder Boss: "Learn the rules?" No, YOU learn the rules. We Greeks invented democracy.
Doug: You also invented homos.
Sidewinder Boss: F*ck you.
Doug: You wish. You gotta buy me dinner first.

Greatest film ending "ever" ... I always get major chills during it and always clap loudly afterwards, whether it be in the local movie palace or on television :).

My favorite quote, it's a long one. And it also happens to be my absolute favorite closing monologue to a movie...ever.
"The truth is that I'm a bad person, but that's going to change, I'm going to change. This is the last of this sort of thing. I'm cleaning up and I'm moving on, going straight and choosing life. I'm looking forward to it already. I'm going to be just like you: the job, the family, the f*cking big television, the washing machine, the car, the compact disc and electrical tin opener, good health, low cholesterol, dental insurance, mor tgage, starter home, leisurewear, luggage, three-piece suite, DIY, game shows, junk food, children, walks in the park, nine to five, good at golf, washing the car, choice of sweaters, family Christmas, indexed pension, tax exemption, clearing the gutters, getting by, looking ahead, to the day you die."

This one is simple, but it's one of my favorites:
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around every once and a while, you could miss it." - Ferris Bueller's Day Off
"Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over, men recognize that the human race has been harshly treated but it has moved forward." - Les Miserables

I have wayyy too many to count, but I'll put my top two (apologies for the length of the first):
"Japanese submarine slammed two torpedoes into her side, Chief. Was comin’ back from the island of Tinian Leyte. Just delivered the bomb, the Hiroshima bomb. Eleven hundred men went into the water. Vessel went down in twelve minutes. Didn’t see the first shark for about half an hour. Tiger, thirteen-footer. You know how you know that when you’re in the water, Chief? You tell by lookin’ from the dorsal to the tail. What we didn’t know was our bomb mission had been so secret no distress signal had been sent. They didn’t even list us overdue for a week. Very first light, Chief, sharks come cruisin’. So we formed ourselves into tight groups. It was kinda like old squares in a battle, like you see on a calendar, like the Battle of Waterloo. And the idea was, the shark comes to the nearest man, and that man, he starts poundin’ and hollerin’ and screamin’. Sometimes the shark go away, sometimes he wouldn’t go away. Sometimes, that shark, he looks right into ya, right into your eyes. You know, the thing about a shark, he’s got lifeless eyes. Black eyes, like a doll’s eyes. When he comes at ya, he doesn’t seem to be livin’, until he bites ya and those black eyes roll over white. And then, ah, then you hear that terrible high-pitched screamin’. The ocean turns red. And in spite of all the poundin’ and hollerin’, they all come in, they rip you to pieces. You know, by the end of that first dawn, lost a hundred men. I don’t know how many sharks, maybe a thousand. I don’t know how many men. They averaged six an hour. On Thursday morning, Chief, I bumped into a friend of mine. That’d be Robinson, from Cleveland, baseball player, boatswain’s mate. I thought he was asleep. Reached over to wake him up. Bobbed up and down in the water just like a kind of top. Upended. Well, he’d been bitten in half below the waist. Noon the fifth day, Mr. Hooper, a Lockheed Ventura saw us. He swung in low and saw us. A young pilot, a lot younger than Mr. Hooper. Anyway, he saw us and come in low, and three hours later, a big fat PBY comes down and starts to pick us up. You know, that was the time I was most frightened, waitin’ for my turn. I’ll never put on a lifejacket again. So, eleven hundred men went in the water. Three hundred and sixteen men come out. The sharks took the rest. June the 29th, 1945. Anyway, we delivered the bomb."
-Jaws
And my ultimate favorite:
"Roads? Where we're going we don't need... roads."

A handful of my favorites:
"Hold me."
"I can't." ~~ Edward Scissorhands
"My dear Sam, you cannot always be torn in two. You have so much left to be, and to see, and to do. Your part in the story will go on." ~~ ROTK
"How many pots have you smoken?" ~~ The 40 Year Old Virgin (probably the cleanest of my faves from that one)
"That is Neverland." ~~ Finding Neverland
"If only you knew the things I want to say and don't." ~~ Anne of Green Gables
"Grandma says hi. She's sorry she keeps stealing the bumblebee pendant; she just likes it a lot. She wanted me to tell you she saw you dance. She said, when you were little, you and her had a fight, right before your dance recital. You thought she didn't come see you dance. She did. She hid in the back so you wouldn't see. She said you were like an angel. She said you came to the place where they buried her...asked her a question? She said the answer is 'Every day.' What did you ask?"
"Do I make her proud?" ~~ The Sixth Sense

Ah, this one reminds me of my parents:
Scott: Well I was thinking I like animals. Maybe I could be a vet.
Dr. Evil: An evil vet?
Scott: No! Maybe, like, work in a petting zoo.
Dr. Evil: An evil petting zoo?
Scott: You always do that!
