Firefly, here in Las Vegas, serves great red and white sangria. It's chilled up to four days before serving. YUM!

I just went to a new bar and they gave me a Cucumber Gimlet. My friend tried making it at home and it was great. You just cut the cucumber, put it in a glass, fill the glass with fresh lime juice (fresh limes are the trick), you leave it sitting for a few minutes. Then mix the lime juice with some nice gin (I'm partial to Bombay Sapphire or Churchill), add some sugar, and shake it with some ice. It's soooooo yummy and unique.
After that, I loooove flirtinis! So so so good: Blueberry/Orange Stoli, champagne, and pineapple juice with a splash of granadine. Exquisite.
I also love me some vodka tonic, red-headed sluts (cranberry juice, peach schnapps, and jagger), and margaritas of course.
If I want to get a quick buzz, long islands are the best!

I can only drink gin when I wanna get ****-faced. My taste buds aren't built for gin, no matter how top-shelf it is.

Bacardi PeachRed is my favorite hard liquor. Shots go down like candy.

As for mixed drinks, it's getting summery, so I've been longing for mojitos lately. A nice white sangria would be wonderful, too.

My inner gay loves a Seabreeze.

Although, there is a drink called "The Audrey Hepburn" which I was hoping to sample today...but didn't get around to it! I did have a mamosa, which was quite delicious.

Though it's not a "drink" drink, I love Mike's Hard Lemonade. It's alcohol that's hard enough for a lightweight like myself. :)

Right now I'm enjoying my dirty vodka martini with Dirty Sue olive juice I ordered from Amazon. Excellent...but here's one for you vodka drinkers to try, and it comes from Kenya.

The Dawa (Dow-wa)
3 or 4 fresh lime slices muddled (sp?) smash em in the glass!
a shot or two of your favorite vodka
ice
a little sugar
a spoon dipped in honey to stir the drink with

Delicious and lethal!

A glass of good pinot noir.

Non Alcoholic- Diet Peach Snapple frozen.

I also adore hazelnut coffee mixed with amaretto coffee and hazelnut fat free creamer and two equals frozen.

A friend of mine, who just returned from Kenya, and brought the recipe back, also brought me some Dawa Sticks. They kind of look like green bamboo. We're gonna wear them out this summer! You're right best- love your posts btw and the great info you always provide us!
