Hey, do any of you watch the Fine Living Network?

They have a show called "Great Cocktails." It's all about mixology. Don't think that I'm a big lush or anything, but I do enjoy the "art of the drink."

I've only seen this program a couple of times so far, but I was fascinated by it. The host reminds me of that guy from "Good Eats." He really gets into the history of the drink, the ingredients, the "science" and "art" of it all.

I don't often drink, but I REALLY like Melon Balls:

2 oz Midori Melon Liquer
1 oz Vodka
4 oz Pineapple Juice

He's the one of the only chef on Food Network that I don't watch.

He's a little annoying on Iron Chef, but I love "Good Eats". I've learned a lot.

I love Bloody Marys...and the spicier the better. Since having a gastric bypass, I am banned from alcohol forever. I am a big fan of crystal lite, though.

Alton Brown is so much fun to watch. I've worked as a chef and his show is all about the science of food.

When he talks about a cocktail...it's quite a drink.

The orange cream and strawberry lime are particularly nice, but I'd stay away from the green apple if you value your teeth - it's one of the sugariest things I've ever tasted.

Tom---"the science of food." So right. I find him alternating between annoying and brilliant. Mostly brilliant. Sometimes funny. And sometimes I wanna just punch him.

This guy on Fine Living doing his cocktail show reminds me of him.

I made that drink geaj recommended...and it was as fabulous as it sounds. I had blueberry stoli and it tasted so delicious with the muddled limes, the honey, the sugar...yummy!

My favorite alocoholic drink is hard to come by. It is simply coconut rum and Coke Zero, but it's the right brnad of rum that's important; Don Lorenzo Dark Coconut Rum (available only in the Bahamas). That rum is so unbelievably delicious. It tastes like honey. When my father was working in the Bahamas, we would return with a case after each visit. After that, it would probably be a good Sloe Gin Fizz.

As for non-alcoholic, I really like Izze and Jones sodas, but it's bubble tea that really blows my skirt up. It's a drink and a snack! And it's entertaining! Especially if you're watching someone try one for the first time. LOL

Back when I was still doing shots, I was partial to Redheaded Sluts.

In a pinch, I'l drink Twisted Tea or Smirnoff Ice
