mine would have to either be doppleganger or facetious
"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears." CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre" "I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is." TOM STOPPARD

Comfortable.

A good amount of syllables that can be emphasized in many ways. For example, COM-fort-able.

re: What's your favorite word?

I'd say pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, but that's not really my favorite word - it's my favorite word to tease people with ("I bet you can't spell it!" "(crying) I can't!").

My actual favorite word? Uh...maybe nuzzle? I don't know, it's just such a cute, sweet word. *nuzzles*

re: What's your favorite word?

"shenanigans" always reminds me of the South Park episode where the boys go to a carnival, and there is a crooked ring toss game. They find a cop, and claim the game is fixed by saying, "we declare shenanigans!"

And for you really old dudes (like me), do you recall a Saturday morning kids show during the 1960's called SHENANIGANS? It was hosted by Broadway legend Stubby Kaye, and had kids competing in funny obstacle courses and stunts and stuff. Sort of like Double Dare without the slime.
