I'm not gung ho on Benjamin Button either, but I want to fit in as many of the nominated films as possible. It makes it more fun to watch Oscars.

If I had access to watch these movies at home, I'd do the same thing. I hate going to the movies....it's always freezing and I end up behind someone super tall, and the person behind me puts their feet against my chair and pushes me through the whole thing.

I think that was the day I decided never to do extra work again.

That is how I felt after my second film, The Evening Star (TV studio scene). A day and a half for a 10-second scene is absurd. Especially since only about 60 minutes was devoted to actually filming anything. Shirley MacLaine was very sweet to everyone, though. After hearing the playback of one of the takes, she looked over at me, rolled her eyes, and started giggling. Luckily, I had a bunch of friends with me on the set. And if you look very closely, you can find Jonathan Caouette, creator of Tarnation, portraying a make-up artist.
