What show should I see with my mom?

My mom and I are going to NYC for the weekend of March 25th- we'll be staying for two days. On Saturday night, we are going to see Sweeney, but we are stuck for a Sunday matinee. We have already seen Wicked, The Producers, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Light in the Piazza, Rent, Hairspray and Beauty and the Beast. She prefers to see "newer" shows, (shows that have not had any major cast changes yet) but she really wants to see a good show. Any help is appreciated.
There's a lot I am not certain of...

When Lestat comes NY (I forgot the moved up date) you could catch that.

Has anyone here seen Spelling Bee recently? How are all the newer actors doing? (Josh Gad, Greg Stuhr, etc.)

I believe it's March 25. That's the latest one I have heard. It may be different.

I saw Spelling Bee in NYC, ever since the Tony's haven't heard much about it.

Darlesia Cearcy is now in the role of Nettie. Renee Elise Goldsberry was the one who originated the role, I believe. Other than that, I don't believe the cast has changed.

I asked her about TCP, but she doesn't seem interested. So far we've looked at The Pajama Game (but its sold out, obviously) and Jersey Boys (tickets for the performence we want are too expensive). She seems interested in Spelling Bee, but any other suggestions are welcome!
There's a lot I am not certain of...

It depends. We considered trying Forbidden Broadway, but I don't think she'd get a lot of jokes, since she really doesn't pay attention to the theater world.

Why does your mom only want to see new shows? It doesn't hurt to see a classic here and there. I would suggest going to see The Phantom of the Opera or Avenue Q.

Sherry, my post had nothing to do with how open minded I am. I just thought it would have been more appropriate to put a Broadway-related post such as this on the Broadway board. I answered the question anyway because it doesn't matter that much.
