I might be going into the city the end of augest. I'm woudnering what broadway show to see. I want to see a musical. I've already seenn Rent, Avenue Q, Wicked, Lion King, Beauty & the beast and tarzan. I don't know what to see. I heard all good things about Hairspray, DRS, and droswy. I just don't know what they are about. Thanks for any help

I'd say Drowsy but the more important question is what do YOU want to see?

Unless there is a specific actor you want to see, rule out shows that will tour or are already out on the road. You will see them anyway.

The Drowsy Chaperone is as good as any with the original cast intact.

The Drowsy Chaperone is great. You'll also be just in time for Sweeney Todd. Maybe if that's your thing, you can see that!

Hairspray is very fun and has catchy music. DRS, I enjoyed, it was funny but not one of my favorites. And Drowsy was great as well. It had a lot of fun moments. It's like a love letter to theatre-goers.

I also reccomend Spelling Bee. It's my favorite comedy on Bway currently. I've seen it three times and it just keeps getting better. It's very very very funny.

Ok well I want to see something that I can get either Lottery or student rush to. I perfer something that doesn't have long lines.

Hairspray is about white and black people being seperated. They can't go on this show, but on negro days. It's a fun show, too!

I don't know much about DRS or Drowsy, but enjoy what ever it is that you see!

Just because I got the lead doesn't mean you can't be my understudy!:)

sweeney todd for a sondheim darker type show, and hairspray or BATB for a fluff type show. It all depends on what you're feeling at the moment. Personally I would go and see Sweeney or drowsey, but my suggestion for you would be to go and search synopsis's and decide what show is for you!
