I'm curious, what shows (currently playing) do you think need to be seen from the orchestra and what shows really don't matter and are just about the same from mezz or balc or whatever.
Sicne some shows (at least I think) are better when you are closer up, getting closer to what's going on, really be able to see the faces, etc. Some shows on the other hand you can be where ever and it doens't really matter, you still get the same affect.
So curious to see what shows people think you should have closer seats to have a better time and which ones you don't need the better seats..

I really wouldn't want to see Piazza from its orchestra because it is underneath the stage.
However, I don't plan on seeing it again at the moment, as for me the thrill has departed, though the show itself is still wonderful, no doubt.
At least I have the CD...
lol, I meant the orch seats! Not that actually orchestra lol
Although the winking smiley face means you were just jokin around, so yea.
I'm hoping to see that show this week actually (yay no school cuz of the Jewish holidays), student rush, so think those seats are basically at random... we'll see where I'm put.
I'll be happy anywhere though, since it's cheap lol.
Lion King is meant to be seen from the floor...trust me. The balcony is the absolute worst place to see Lion King, it loses all the magic.
bump...
Hmmm, although Sweeney isn't out yet, do you think this Sweeney will need to be seen on the floor or can you see it higher and it be the same? I really am thinking you will need to be close to feel the intensity and insanity of the show... but who knows.
In My Life...just kidding...it probably shouldn't be seen at all!
lol, what is that going to be about? I have a CD they were passing around for free... have yet to listen to it though.

Chicago. I hate seeing it not from the first or second row of the orchestra.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
RENT !!!! You can feel the energy and be a part of it a lot better from the orchestra !!!
Yeah, and the cast members look at you and wink during Seasons of Love.
I'm an orchestra snob, so I recommend seeing every show from the orchestra (and not the first 2 rows) at least once. Even the word "mezzanine" bothers me- it's usually a glorified balconey.
