The Geffen is a nice theater. I saw Cat on a Hot Tin Roof there, and thought it seemed like a very intimate theater.
My dad actually has a seat in his name at the Kirk Douglas. He was really big into Culver City's redevelopment, and it is nice to see how downtown Culver City has blossomed these past few years.
I just should have bought a house in East Culver City four/five years ago when I was thinking of it. Oh well, still have the condo, but it would have been great to be within walking distance of all that is going on over there.

Everything's so spread out here, there's no way to be near everything I'd like to be.
But being in Pasadena would cover many of my bases - ESPECIALLY the Huntington, which is easily one of the most wonderful places I've ever been. I would live there on those grounds in a heartbeat!

Do high tea there and visit the gardens, it is well worth it.
It is just too warm for me there. Born and raised on the west side. What can I say.

I moved here from Scottsdale, AZ. Even out here where we are isn't bad for me 
I love tea at the gardens!
When was the last time you were there? I sense a play day ahead . . .

It has been few years.
Hmmmm . . . High Tea, could be interesting.
I was born and raised here in West LA, so I am spoiled. I have good friends that live in San Marino and Pasadena. It has to be 20 degrees hotter there than here!
