One can hope

He used to host Entertainment Tonight until he left it to pursue a career. A great move much like Chuck Woolery asking Merv Griffin for a raise to host Wheel of Fortune. the rest is history

He still has that radio show where he gives us banal and obvious facts and calls them "Intelligence For Your Life" phrased as if we would simply stumble around bumping into things and blinking if we didn't have him to tell us differently.

He's on one of my local radio stations as a DJ. 101.3 in SF. I only know this from scanning radio stations, by the way. I DON'T listen to the station.

About 30 years ago, John Tesh began his career as a boy reporter for the local NBC station. He was excellent. Not only did he report about the lack of heat in certain apartment complexes but he spent the night with a family in one. It was excellent journalism.

Then he became this insipid composer/musician.

Sad. Terribly sad.
