.....The Carlos Beltran the Mets thought they were getting
There is always next year in the new park. Yankee Stadium, & not Shea, is more deserving of it.At least, the Mets had the decency of starting their collapse now instead of waiting until the last week.
The Mets staff is a shambles. After a few good weeks, the offense is again being offensive again with them leaving men on base in droves.
Manuel wants to reduce the toll on starters by having them go shorter (not longer as they sould be doing) in the game. This puts more stress on a severly overworked bullpen which is now collapsing because these guys arms are about to fall out by pithing in almost every game.

...Carmen Sandiego?
...Namo?
...class?
...Osama?
The opposite of creation isn't war, it's stagnation.

I can't believe Minaya couldn't get bullpen help last week. Brian Fuentes and George Sherril were both on the market!
Plus, John Maine just went on the DL and Billy Wagner might not be that far behind him.

Minaya should have went with Randolph for a clean sweep. Minaya assembled this team
They are done this year so let's look forward to next year. the sooner Minaya is shown the door the better.
