Posted: 11/2/06 at 6:03amI was working at Tower Records election night. We had CNN on the monitors and a customer asked how the voting was going. One of my supervisors said "Geroge Bush is getting an ass-whipping of titanic proportions!" and the customer cheered!

8th grade. It was the first year I really followed the election. Embarrassingly I actually voted for Perot in the "Kid's Voting" election. Even more embarrassing, I was very vocal in my support.

Ross Perot is a beautiful human being with an angelic singing voice that could melt steel. Yum!

Posted: 11/2/06 at 11:44amI was a sophmore in high school just like Lizzie. In relation to the presidential election that year....I did have an interesting experience. George H. Bush came to town on a whistle stop tour to campaign for re-election and any of us at school who could prove we were going to hear the president speak got a pass to leave school early. If not for anything else, I was at least grateful to the soon-to-be ex-president that he got me out of algebra class!

Posted: 11/2/06 at 11:48amI remember being laughed at by my 5th grade class for being a Clinton supporter. Gotta love kids in a rich republican suburb, I got the last laugh though. Funny though the last laugh for politics never was as hurting as when your favorite sports team lost.
