I dropped in to see if anything was new. The answer would be no.
Jose is still on some bizarre witch hunt fueled by god-knows-what. Still pissed off about a non-invitation to something she didn't even plan? Jealousy over a perceived position as moderator that only he seems to think is enviable? Envy about good friendships that he (and others) want to cast in an unsavory light? I can't help but wonder what happened to the Jose I liked and thought I knew. Give it a rest, already. Go find a diner to hang out at, or something.
And why, exactly, does Jose give a rats ass who the moderator is, anyway? Just because it's not him? Why, I've even heard the rumor (from Jose) that *I* am one of the 'unchosen'.
And on that note, I heading back for the hills. This is SO tiresome. I remember when BWW used to be fun.
And speaking of fun...I hope the Chicago crew has an amazing weekend. Have a pink lemonade in my honor.

Frankly, Addy and her "pink" princess personna are a comical sham, her perchant to be surrounded by her gay hangers-on is obvious, and the fact that Cookie only appears after Addy has made an appearance is the joke of BWW. That's not true for everyone - I'd be careful of speaking for all of BWW.
You know, there are some who seem to be willing and able to maintain relationships with many involved in this little drama - and not perpetuate the inuendo and hateful talk. Perhaps they are an example to be emulated.

I'm not a moderator, Jose, but feel free to think I am if it makes you happy. I really don't care one way or another.
And really, almost any of us can be seen as comical figures to a person who chooses to see things that way. Except in some cases, it stops being funny. Jose, you used to be a moderator. Now you're not. You are hurt and angry about whatever happened, and you need someone to blame. I used to be sympathetic, but really, it's time to get over it and let it go.

You know, I hate to get involved in crap like this, but since Addy's not here, and probably wouldn't waste her time defending herself to this man anyway, I will.
First of all, it’s people like you, Jose, who’ve created and perpetuated this “pink princess persona,” not Addy. Second, if you can make blanket statements about Cookie and Addy’s relationship being "the joke of BWW", then I can make one of my own. Posts like the ones you’ve written in this thread make you look like a sad, lonely, pathetic little man with way too much time on his hands.
For those of you who haven’t had a chance to get to know Addy, I can assure you that nothing about the woman is a sham. She’s human and imperfect, but she’s also warm, generous, thoughtful and she strives to be extremely sincere in everything that she does.
One of the worst things about this is that I’m sure there was a time when Addy felt truly sorry that Jose’s feelings had been hurt, even though she wasn’t at all responsible.
So, Jose, keep doing crap like this if it makes you happy, but you’re the only one that it reflects poorly on. Her friends know the truth. I’m proud and grateful to call myself one of them, and I don’t give a damn what you and your cronies think about it.
