Addy is not the only person/persona who's been attacked in this way by this "man." However, it is this persona which gets the attention and therefore makes everyone aware of the ridiculous rantings of Jose.
Jose, you like to paint a picture of a beautiful, contented life that you supposedly lead - but with posts/attacks like these, it is not difficult to see what kind of a life you really have.

I was talking to some new friends today about drinking and posting. (These were the most sincere and sweet people I have met in awhile. I am so happy to have had the chance to get to know them a bit better and hope we can do it again soon.) Anyway, we all decided that computers need to have Breathalyzers, much like cars, that prevent you from logging on if your blood alcohol level is above the legal limit.
I already applied for a patent, so don't even think of stealing our idea. Until the time that these are available, remember...Friends don't let your friends post drunk!
That said, I had a wonderfully fun-filled day!
I hope everyone made it home safely and soundly...

Someone was being nasty about Addy? Obviously they don't know her.
I've had the privilege of getting to know her and to actually have met her in person. She is one of the most gracious people I know.
And, Cookie is just a wonderful sweetheart who gives the bestest hugs--I know from personal experience.
So, to whomever is making trouble...shame on you!

Sueleen, I expressed a need for Breathalyzer Ignition Locks on keyboards months and months ago. The difference? I was referring to how I'd gotten drunk at a bar and come home to ramble endlessly about a personal problem on here.
Posters who get tanked and log on specifically to attack other people only reinforce the need for this technology. How sad is that?

Sueleen - I SINCERELY hope this was the visiting NYC contingency - it matches their decription perfectly. And I would like to think of the circle growing just that much wider.

I'm probably lacking the proper perspective to give an adequate response to the attacks that have been made.
Addy is someone I love, admire, and adore.
That's evident on the boards, but it's a statement that I'm quite proud and honored I can make. And just in case anyone had any doubt.
I could write volumes to extol Addy's qualities. But those who know her and have gotten to know her, know for themselves what those qualities are.
She's certainly someone I'd set my moral compass to and hang on.
