Thanks, Pip - I'm back home now, and things are as good as they can be. I know I'M better being back home!
I don't think of you as crashing Addy's thread - you are a NATURAL in her world!
Shira - you're kidding, right?

Posted: 10/17/05 at 1:31pmAddy, sorry, I haven't been reading back enough... The trees in this area are just starting to turn and, even though everyone's saying that they won't be very nice this year, I think they are gorgeous! Lots of reds and gold among the green. I guess up north it's even brighter, but haven't been up there for awhile...

oh Cookie... I'm sorry. No turning green.
Do you like butterscotch bread? I'll bake you some of that, instead. It's a good Fall treat.

Posted: 10/17/05 at 1:38pmOn the flight back from Denver, we went straight over the mountains (obviously - and right over my mother's house, too!) It was after a major snowstorm, so lots of fresh whiteness glistening in the sun. And there were huge stands of Aspen at full peak sprinkled throughout the pines. Quite the sight for my tired eyes.
