Addy!
So good to have you back...and I'm sure you were amused to find everyone searching for you during your absence! You ARE a BWW Icon.
Hope you feel better soon.
"Barefoot" opens in February...I'm eyeing an April visit...
(Or am I? Mister Wilson, I'm not going to tip my hand just yet...)
Patrick Wilson Fans --New "UnOfficial Fan Site". Come check us out!
Just a sore throat/cold/fever thingy. Nothing that won't go away... I'm just trying to get rest and drink lots of juice.
I loved seeing Hillwood! The home is beautiful and the setting is spectacular. The collections are just a treasure! What an amazing life she had. I can imagine that her daughters (I believe she had a couple, with different husbands) would have been lovely, given the gracious surroundings in which they were raised.
ck, the cruise!
Yes, it's playtime.
DG, she looks familiar...
Girls field trip? COUNT ME IN!
I'll come for the show and the amusement of watching all you girls swoon.
She just had the one daughter, Nedenia. And yes, she might be the most gracious person I've ever met. I adore her.
You'd know her as Dina Merrill.
That's who I thought you were talking about, Rath.
...I thought she had two daughters by her first marriage and then one by her second. I'll have to go back and check...
You are right - sorry about that. There were others by a previous marriage - forgot about them.
She has a fascinating biography, doesn't she, Rath?
That looks delicious, Cookie.
Dina? Yes. Absolutely. I read her biography while I was at her house in East Hampton.
She has come through some rough times with beauty, grace, and a huge heart.
Beauty, grace and a huge heart. Sounds like a good plan for life!
She's pretty special!
Lucky you to have met her!
Undi... *hug*
CK--if you do the cruise around St. Martin, I can tell you all the great restaurants on the French side--and one or two on the Dutch side.
PalJoey, I think we should go on the trip with him. Just to make sure he gets to the right spots!
The Board is Alive... with the Sight of Addy...
So glad to have you back, Ms. Addy.
I can't believe that after living in DC for 8 years, I never heard of Hillwood.
Hi, DD! It's nice to be 'back'
I had never been to Hillwood before this weekend, and I used to spend quite a bit of time in Washington. The next time you are there, you should treat yourself to a vist.
Followed by tea. We had a lovely afternoon tea. It was perfect. Especially because the cafe was filled with little girls all in pink having a pink tea party. I couldn't have been happier.
Ohhh, afternoon tea!!
Who knew that pink tea had the same powers as green tea.
