Where ya from?

Hello, all! Thought it might be interesting to see where my fellow posters grew up, so...where ya from? :) I am personally from a small town in West Virginia called Keyser.

Adair - I've actually been to Keyser! I was in WV for a wedding a couple of years ago and ended up seeing a good deal of the state. I figured I wasn't going to care for WV at all and that South Asians from California were not going to be welcome. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was - so lush and green - and how genuinely friendly every single damn person I encountered was.

I was born and raised in a small town 30 minutes outside of London, England, and then grew up in Southern California from age 10 on.

No way! That's so cool! Glad to hear you enjoyed your experience! I was born in Maryland, but have spent my entire life in Keyser. Despite being fairly right wing, it's a nice place. I'm moving out west to Long Beach, California in a couple months to pursue an acting and screenwriting career. :)

I grew up in Astoria in the 70s. I now live in northern NJ.
