Who Else Is Only Seeing The Hairspray Movie For Walken?

Not a big fan of the musical or even the movie (Although John Waters himself is okay in my book...and I actually HAVE a book...) but Christopher Walken is going to be amazing within this film as he always is.

That's rather like saying you'll only see LAWRENCE OF ARABIA for Claude Rains.

I'm a big Norman Rossington man, myself, but to each their own.

Yes, that's like going to see American Beauty to see Marissa Jaret Winokur...

Cruel- he is WONDERFUL.

Can't stress it enough. You will be pleased.

I'll probably see it, but not just for Walken. The Hairspray movie isn't exactly a movie I waiting for to come out. I'm more eager for Sweeney than I am for Hairspray.

I think that if he wasn't doing Hairspray that Christopher Walken would be an excellent Judge in Sweeney.

Does anyone else think Queen Latifah sounds very puny in the trailer?

Everyone I know who has seen it thinks so, myself included.

Do you mean 'vocals'?

She's not the power-house that we've heard from others.

Yeah.

I mean, I love Queen Latifah and I think she has a fine voice. But, judging from the trailer, she doesn't come close to having the powerhouse voice needed for that role.

I'm looking forward to this movie. I see all movie-musical's, have to support them in hopes of a rare gem. Plus I secretly want to see Travolta in a dress. :)

Im really excited to see the movie, just in general! I saw the cast on Opera a a few weeks ago, and the whole cast looks pretty good! :)

I too, will be seeing it despite Walken, Travolta and Latifah, and that kid from High School Musical. I am sure it will STILL be a very entertaining film, just not the blast through the roof it should be. I hope I am wrong.
PEACE.
