I was iffy on whether or not to see it, but I saw the trailer before Knocked Up and now I'm psyched. I think it looks like a blast.

I hate the musical but I do love Michelle Pfeiffer, so I'm torn. I'm not sure if her presence alone is enough to get me in the theater.

I am seeing it for the following reasons:
1) John Travolta in a dress
2) Queen Latifah singing "I Know Where I've Been"
3) Christopher Walken and Travolta singing "Timless to Me"
4) Michelle Pfieffer (Sp?) and her return to Musicals

I love the original film, and found the stage musical fun; but I have no interest in this movie. So, I'm not seeing it for Walken or anyone or anything.

"I mean, I love Queen Latifah and I think she has a fine voice. But, judging from the trailer, she doesn't come close to having the powerhouse voice needed for that role."

It was the same complaint I had about her in Chicago. Her voice was ok, but not great. Her acting was weak. Her comedic timing was way off. But she sells tickets, so...
