Homo-eroticism, phallic symbolism, Sal Mineo as a psycho sporting a very visible bulge in swimming trunks, Juliet Prowse and Elaine Stritch as a lesbo bartender. What's not to love?
PEEP SHOW
Ha. Yes, saw this one recently. Not a great film, but my goodness, wasn't Sal beautiful?
< I think Miss Haworth (and Bobby Sherman) would agree.
Sal Mineo is fantastic in this..and the bathing suit is..well...strained.

Okay, so its "not a great film", but I think that's what makes this dog so great. It is the old adage, "There are good movies, bad movies and fabulous movies--as in 'Oh, you have to see this. It's fabulous.'"
The producer also produced What Makes Sammy Run?, a musical playing at the time of filming. There are exterior shots in front of the 54th Street Theatre where it was playing.
Wasn't Juliet Prowse a beauty? She played Sweet Charity in Vegas in the 60s and I also think played it in London. She was a major song and dance girl.
I think every man alive ought to be compelled by law to wear the same swim suit that Sal wears. Or at least similar. They sorting can happen later.
Is that a pistol in your pocket...
