norn, the little French bulldog is just adorable.
I'm pet-free and I hate it that way. I'm going to get a dog when I finish school. I can't wait, I've wanted one for so long.

Posted: 4/17/07 at 9:05pmI hate being mostly pet free (I see my dog on weekends) but my current schedule does not allow for one. Once it all settles, a puppy is definitely in order.

Honestly, I’ve never liked being kissed or licked by animals. Maybe it comes from not being around animals much growing up, but when a dog licks my hand I seriously want to wash it ASAP. And yes I know dogs have cleaner mouths than humans, but I wouldn’t want some random human licking my hand either. Yet, if a kid spits up on me, it's gross but it doesn't bother me too much. Odd.

I thought I missed having a cat, until today when I was playing with the kitten in the deli and the deli owner asked me if I wanted to take her home.
I immediately realized how much easier my life has been, and how much freer. I'm definitely happy pet-free at the moment!

Posted: 4/17/07 at 9:29pmWe just put my 15 year old dog to sleep, and I think being pet free is only good for that reason. The heartache of saying goodbye to a best friend. However, this past fall we also got a new puppy. I can't imagine life without pets. They bring so much happiness. Especially dogs. They love you no matter what.
